DHL Car Rally 06...

*yawnz* Tis is wad i haf been feeling since i woke up @ 2+ till now. Feeling tired & restless... Nothin special happened so dun waste my time blogging on 2day's stuff. Haa~

9th Dec 06 (Sat) : DHL Car Rally 06...

The day which we have been looking fwd has finally arrived man! Above is a pic of my team - Perfect 4, combination from my com Ops & Procurement Dept! Each of us have a role to play in tis rally. KW - Running of errands which includes hopping off to go down to the sites to take a closer look of each RC. JK - She's there to calculate the readings of the tulip map to ensure the dist we have travelled is accurate + contrinuting in the fear factor. BK - Ooo... he's our navigator for the day. W/O him directing the way, the Perfect 4 will becum the Lost 4 liao loh. Whereas for me; i can't read the map, can't run & poor in my maths, i can only contribute my only skill which is... driving + getting e car from my dad + contributing in e fear factor loh! Haa~

The entire rally lasted ard 4hrs. Many a times, we were joking of giving up the rally & go off for a cup of coffee, shopping loh. Jokes aside, when we passed by each RC, all of us will shout out for the ans loh. When e rest were bz competing against other teams, we cld still alight & take pics wif planes. When there are cars blocking our way, i will press my horn to purposely scare them & make them kan cheong! (Of coz i will only scare those ppl i noe lah.. Prior to this, i told myself nt 2 be so cik ark. Dun anyhow scare them coz will get retribution wan loh. But it doesn't pays to be "kind"... I decided to be a devil aft being frightened off by Joseph's team; I wan to terrorise all of them out there! Haa~ )

During the 2nd half of the rally, we were somehow lost. We kept going round n round the same rd & somehow it didn't seem to let us get to the next RC. Tink at e end of the rally, all of us noe dat route at e back of our minds loh! Haa~

The ending point of the rally was @ Marina Country Club (Hope i din get e name wrong...) Dinner was also arranged over there too. Comments for food wise leh... still ok. Made us wait 2 long loh... *hungry* Something farni happened over dinner loh. For those who noe me, they noe i hardly take seafood... in other words, i'm trying to be marine friendly. Haa~ So for those dishes such as prawnz, fishes... i hardly consume wan. Whereas for crabs, i was simply lazy to use my hands lah. Den V offered mi the crab dat he has shelled off. I will love to accept but den ppl will noe i'm lazy to use my hands & expecting ppl to help mi liao mah. Haa~ But den e rest of e guys on my table was teasing him dat i turned down his offer as he was using his hands & still asked if i wan or nt loh. Haa~ Poor guy... trying to be nice yet kena suan by e rest... hee~

Though we didn't get to win any prize last nite but it was indeed fun to team up wif e guys to join in tis competition. I'm sure we will work harder next yr. Tis yr only a warm up only mah... let's strive harder & aim to be the top few places next yr! ;) I'm sure tis is a gd exp for e 4 of us! I'm oso glad all of us enjoyed it unlike some of the teams were so sore over certain issues & u cld c all of their black faces when we drove past them... ;(

Not forgetting to thank Andy + San + SY who had to pick up my calls to entertain my super last min qns on how 2 get to some of the sites...
