Its a short week...

Its a short week for most of us. Only 4 days to work; out of the 4 days, i'm out of office for almost 2 days! This made my week shorter + busier too. 不过我喜欢... 哈哈...

4th April 07:
3rd day in a row, taken cab to work loh. Haiz... been super tired lately due to my aunty visit. *broke*
Twice, i scared my boss tis morn when i screamed! Oppss... 1st was when i saw an email from my classmate saying dat there is a DVD sale; Phantom of The Opera DVD (new & original wan hor...) selling @ $12! Goodness... i turned ard & asked my coll Fayy for refund. Haa~ I jus paid her for the tix @ $60+ yesterday loh. Haa~ The 2nd time was when i saw my name in the results of the ballot on the corporate chalet! Haa~ Finally can go organise chalet liao. So much tots running in my mind. Who to ask lah.. wad food 2 buy loh. Haa~ Gt so much work dun do den kip sitting down there & day dream... Hee~ The 1st grp of ppl dat came to my mind was of coz my dept. We nv had such a gathering b4... so let mi start the ball rolling man! At least i'm "generous" ok... nt like some ppl who say... "如果我拿到,我不会叫你们去的..."I realli want to faint upon hearing tis loh. Haiz... tink i realli gt lotsa ppl to ask loh. I estimate it will be ard 50pax or more... besides coll, my classmates etc... Its gonna be a big crowd man! Better start my planning now. Haa~
A coll of mine was supposed to meet me up @ 1000h in my office. Poor thing, he called mi on my mobile & my hp was left in my bag which i did not hear or saw e msg he left me. He waited for 35mins @ the reception area... becoz of e delay, he had to postpone another meeting of his. Haiz... i'm sorry abt it. :(
Lunch was @ SingPost. Haiz... initially kinda dread the tot of going there coz besides eating e mee hoon kuey, i dun noe wad else 2 eat liao loh. Had a change for the 1st time, tried the minced pork noodles in e food court. Erm... not dat fantastic loh. *turn off* Well well... aft lunch, saw tis banner. It caught my attn immediately!!! Subway is now located @ B1... Wowww... my fav Subway is not @ SingPost. Haa~ At least i haf something 2 look fwd when i go there for lunch the next time! ;) Oooo... i oso met my pri sch friend, Youfa at the food court too. So glad to catch him there. He's now working @ the HR Dept for 1 of my vendor. Singapore is small man. ;)

3rd April 07:
Tink i shocked quite a lot of ppl back in my office today. I was fully dressed up (including makeup) for my coll, Tracy wedding lunch today! Haa~ Drew lotsa attn since i'm known to dress shabbily to work. Haa~ 1 of them even asked if I was the one getting married or not loh. *faint*
Its also pretty rushed for me in the morn. Reached office ard 0930h & i have to rush out to another office in Changi aft consolidating some docu ard 1030h b4 going down Clarke Quay to attend the lunch. *stressed...*
I went back to my office to pick my coll b4 heading down to Clarke Quay. We tot we were late but looks like we were jus in time for the 1st dish! Haa~ When we arrived, they had jus served the 1st dish - cold dish. Gd timing... sit down & gt food 2 eat liao... 1st time attending a christian wedding lunch. Some of my coll including myself were bored down by the sharing. It was pretty long + sounded "confusing" loh; Someone spoke in English & another translated immediately in chinese... We simply gaf up & got so engrossed in our own talks. ;)
Aft lunch, headed back to SINRO for a brainstorming session. Tis is a follow-up session aft we had attended the First Choice training. We had to contribute ideas on how we cld conduct roadshows to 'lure' our end users to attend + providing enriching info to them too. Let's hope our strategy works. ;)
1/2way thru the discussion, Irene brought in 2 packets of sweets where Hans bought for us. I cannot remember e name of it but I'm sure i had eaten dat back in my sec sch days! Mrs Lee brought dat horrible black sweet from States & my whole class reaction aft eating e sweet was like... "Yuckksss...." I'll nv forget dat... Eeee... 童年阴影...
Everything ended fast & quick. I managed to sneak out by 5pm to go get my hp repair + watch fixed. Haiz... Nokia repair ctr has no spare parts so i gt to wait till they placed e stock. The 2pid watch oso nid to collect the next day when i nid 2 change my batt loh. *faint* Supposed to meet up Fayy + Irene for dinner @ 1815h @ Orchard. But i knew they r sure 2 be late loh. Even had time to do manicure + shopping & they have nt reached loh. Luckily had a heavy lunch else sure faint by e time they reached liao loh. Haa~

2nd April 07:
Reached office ard 0920h. Dumped my barang barang on e floor & a reminder popped up from my pc. Oh no... jus stepped into e office not long den haf to go out liao loh. The appt wif e Sales Manager of Expo was @ 1000h. Haiz... not even haf time 2 haf breakfast. *hungry*
Monday morn... e whole Expo looks very EMPTY loh. Not a single soul in sight except for the gal @ the conceirge. Had a quick tour of the hall + gotta more understanding on how e quote was derived from e sales manager etc...
Next, went over to our new service centre which is supposely walking dist from e Expo. Aaa.. the 4 of us can't seem to figure out how / where we should walk. So the easiest + laziest way is to ask ppl 2 pick us up loh. Haa~ Honoured to haf the service ctr manager, YW to drive out & pick up the 4 of us. We even had a guided tour by him when we reached the service centre loh. Ma jiam some VIP loh... ;) Of all the service centres i have visted, i tink tis is the most "luxury" one... Had such a nicely done up canteen wif vending machines, fridge, air con, plasma tv + pool table loh! Even the L from HR was saying... "U all spoil market leh..." Haa~ Wad i like next was the individual "air con" (tink they call dat spot cooling if i'm nt wrong) dat extends from e top of the w/h to the head area of data entry clerk. No more complains when e weather is hot. I jus love standing on e spot. So cooling loh; cool air blowing from head to my body... Haa~
Another BU had their office on the 2nd floor. Walked up & said hi to all my customers too. They moved in nt long too. Erm... quite shocked to see their office. Their work stations are realli small loh. Some of my coll even gaf us the sian 1/2 look. Not becoz they weren't pleased to see us but becoz of e kind of work space given. Haiz... But i tink wad matters most will be, u r given yr own work station to work wif.... yr humble "home" for 8hrs... rite?
Well, i din returned back to office immediately. Had a lunch appt wif Nacho + Irene @ Purvis Street. Threw a farewell lunch for Nacho will be leaving next week. Haiz... Its sad dat he's leaving. I will nv forget the days where he brought laughter & scary moments to me back in my Bugis office days. Oooo... not forgetting dat he love hugging my turtle whenever he passes by my desk. Hee~ 1 of the joke during lunch was dat... He got a new job + new flat + new gf (He jus broke off wif his chinese gf & Nacho is an ang moh from Argentina... He's a nice guy; I'm sure he can find a nice gal soon. Btw, I'm still single & available. Nacho, u gt my msg rite? Haa~)
By the time i ended my lunch & back in office, it was already 1500h already loh! 3 more hours b4 i knock off. I'm buried with mountain of work again... *yawnz*
