I'm sick again...

Ohhh nooo... 2nd time of the yr to fall sick! Haiz... The flu bug is back to haunt mi again... Somehow the condition din seem 2 improve but further deteroriate this morn. Was feeling feverish & struggling hard in e office when i kept sneezing. Gt to ctrl loh... Ran out of tissue & din bring any to top up too. Luckily it was only blocked nose cum slight fever. No big deal... jus haf 2 sneeze more & spread my germs ard...!!! Whahahaa...
Prior to this blog, had a hard time controlling my running nose. Had to use lotsa of tissues loh. Pinched my nose wif e tissue to stop the running nose, on the other hand, i started to tear too. (Maybe over exert when i tried 2 use my mouth to breathe since my nose is officially "off" for the day...) Very bz loh... left hand use tissue pinch my nose & my right hand using towel to wipe off my tears. Nv been so bz wan loh... Haiz...
Must be due to the numerous late nites over the wkend + the deep fried chicken wings i ate...!!! Oh no...

Majong majong... i'm back again to Irene's hse tis wk 2 recuperate on my losses! Haa~ Had a change of fengshui tis wk. No longer playing @ the balcony area. We positioned the table in front of the altar & i'm seated in front of it. Maybe the Gods & ancestors of Irene's were blessing mi. I finally gt to won aft paying so many yrs of sch fees to many of my shifus loh... haa~ Din win a lot but at least i'm the big winner of e nite (Erm... small stakes only, maybe won abt $10+ only loh... so much coins din even bother 2 go n count loh...) At least it helped mi gain some confidence of my upcoming mj "tournaments" tis cuming fri wif the Raymond & the guys + my dept mj next wk!
I pray to the God of Wealth... May i Huat, HuAt & HUATTT... in the year of Boar...! ;)

Had difficulty trying to Zzz last nite. Tis is the 1st time dat i drank so much yet i can't zzz loh. Or u cld say i was pretty terrorised over wad happened the nite b4... The whole incident jus kept repeating in my mind the whole nite; waking up every other hr....
My 1st unofficial wake up time was abt 11+... woke up to msn for a while b4 going back to Zzz till 1730h! Of coz i was interupted by call from my dear ex-Dive Instructor, Robin ah robin... at ard 3+. I must haf shocked him loh... So late liao still zzz loh. Haa~ Anyway, i did set my hp's alarm to set off at 1600h. Either i was too deeply asleep or i did woke up & unknowingly switched off e alarm, by the time i realised it was time 2 meet up with Motorola Boss, it's already 1730h liao!
Goodness, so much things happened which made us super duper late for appt. 1st, it was me who woke up late, 2ndly, it started to rain; made it even harder for me 2 catch a cab. 3rdly, we went to the wrong mall. Tink we told the cab driver we wan 2 go Central Mall @ Clarke Quay. Who knows there is REALLI a Central Mall but dat isn't where we wanted to go loh. It shld be Central which is jus above Clarke Quay MRT... I'm sorry boss... 老板请客,我们却迟到... 真不好意思阿... ;)
Poor Motorola 老板 was in the rstnt for the past 30mins, sitting there gong gong dai dai looking at e menu till we turned up. Its not easy to find the way to Waraku too. Most of the shops were not opened & we had 1 round of window shopping b4 we finally found our way. Hee~ food was so much better den their ECP outlet. For jap food lovers, i tink its worth giving it a try; Price is reasonable too. Anyway, realli gt 2 谢谢 Motorola 老板... 真不好意思让你破费了...
Went shopping wif SY @ Central. Bought myself a polka dot dress for my cousin's wedding next Sun. At least settled for something liao... no nid 2 worry anymore next wk. ;)
When i'm out wif my drinking shifu, where else can we go aft shopping? Of coz its drinking session lah... Everywhere in Clarke Quay seems so crowded over the wkend... ended up @ a ktv pub in Boat Quay area. Had a quick drink wif sy b4 i left hme, leaving her there. Paiseh leh... ;)

Had 2 rounds of Lo Hei today; 1 with my dept & 1 more round wif my classmates. So many rounds of Lo Hei but it doesn't seem to make mi any "Huat" for the year leh. The max no. of numbers i won for the ang pow Toto was only 2. Min 3.5 numbers den can claim for prizes leh... Haiz... nvm abt the 10m Toto. At least i had fun shouting lotsa auspicious nonsense for it.

My table... we r damn loud during our Lo Hei loh...

The lady saying all the auspicious words when she was at our table serving us the Lo Hei... Look at my boss & Beliaw. So engrossed in e food loh. Whahaahaa...

Our table had lotsa fun tossing the Lo Hei ard... wif mi + my boss SY ard, we gonna be the loudest. From wad Fayy said last yr... "我要结婚..." to my strike 10m Toto, achieve this yr's target savings, pass my exams... the rest were simply nonsense from my table. Thanks all... it was fun wif all of u here @ the Lo Hei... ;)

Aft lunch, went back to RO for a Code of Conduct briefing by HR. Erm... in short, we as Procurement ppl haf 2 be ethical etc... Several scenarios of also brought up during the briefing. Wad tickled our toes were, when A mentioned... "For eg... when 1 of the CEO were being detained @ the immigration, shld we be "paying"? Is this considered 1) Facilitating payments 2) Bribery. As usual, my boss pop up the qn... "Can u tell us y is the CEO being detained if he didn't do anything wrong?" The whole room broke into laughter loh... A also cldn't tink of a ans for my boss. Looks like he has given e wrong eg to the wrong grp of ppl. Haa~ End of the session, we were "made" to sign a 生死书 + given a hotline. In event of any personnel who is suspected of any bribery, tink dat no. can call to bao toh wan leh... *scary* rite?

The entire session ended earlier den wad we had expected, i was forced to stay back in e office since it was raining heavily. Haiz...

Anyway, Aunty has the mood for drinking dat day loh. Kept bugging BK c where he's going aft work loh. Asking him & the rest of my coll out for drinks. I ended up @ Balaclarva aft work for a drink b4 joining my classmates + Jean + David for Lo Hei.

The usual grp of classmates who nv fail 2 suan me when we meet up. Haiz... kip quiet oso kena suan.. tok 2 much oso kena. Haiz... When can i ever get out of dat ah? If they r happy... den let them be bah... ;)

Anyway, its running late too. I'll be back tomorrow nite to blog down my scary exp @ Balaclarva. For those who heard of my bad exp... dun nid 2 read liao... Haa~ Nitez...
