Mission Accomplished...! (食字路口 - 曼谷)

Finally... the mission is finally accomplished by the time all of u read tis post. It has been drafted on the 1st day of the trip & subsequently, it was drafted when we returned... Super tired to con't on a daily basis so I believe it wun be so detailed since I dun haf gd memory to rem all events dat happened...

Some may find us secretive / MIA over the last wkend / not answering phone calls etc... Dun worry, we haf returned in 1 pc safely too. The 2 of us jus wanna kip a super duper low profile travel tis time round... Sounds like honeymoon / gg abroad to register for marriage hor... Hee~

Well, of coz there were exceptional cases where either I had accidentally let the cat out of the bag or I had to "delare" out to my usual khakis who I go out wif... Erm... for those whom I had missed or not mentioned on tis trip,no hard feelings peeps. Take it easy ok? Hee~

Purpose of this trip.... 1st, try out good food in BKK + visit Boonda's daddy + mummy in BKK cum spiritual trip cited by our host aka "Pi Min" (Pronnounced as "pee" which means big sister in Thai).


The pics + itinerary will be a form of "consolation" for those who were missed out in tis trip:

Day 1
- Arrived BKK Int'l Airport @ 1510h (local time)
- Linda is here to pick us up but we were only out at 1600h where she had waited for the past 30mins...
- Back to apt to drop our luggage before heading out to The Mall for dinner + some shopping...
- Home sweet home....

A relatively short day since we only arrived in the late afternoon...

Tis supermart sells everything in bulk + cartons! If u plan to do shopping for yr entire kampong, tis is the best place to get it.

Wow... cheap cheap Oral B toothbrush! I can't resist it. Gotta buy them back since the freq of me changing toothbrush is prob once every 3-4wks... Tis will prob last me for the next 6mths... ;)

Day 2

- Out to JJ Market in the morning.

- Lunch @ Chinatown (Nam Sing) for our die die must eat dishes; bird nest + shark fins...!

Dat's our room... It still looks neat on the 2nd day. For the rest of the days... Erm.... I better not say much... JM, Linda + p0h noes can liao... Hee~

We went seperate ways @ JJ Market so this central clock is where we were supposed to meet...

Day 3
- Spiritual tour to the 6 temples ard BKK... felt so blessed aft dat...

I fell sick at nite... perhaps its due to the hot weather there. Still not quite used to it. Thanks Linda for providing the panadol tablets + flu tablets from JM. Btw, I strongly believe the flu was spread from JM to me loh... Haa~

Local authentic thai b/f... the serving is so small dat u prob nid to eat at least 4-8 bowls... *yummy*

Reached the 1st temple... Linda, Boonyiem + JM lighting up the joss sticks...

JM was suan by Linda for not knowing how 2 placed the candle on the burner... so JM, i believed u learnt something new today rite? ;)

Day 4

Yeah... we finally reached the building.

We passed by the hospital building & saw so many ppl waiting for their num to be called out, casualties resting on the beds lying in the middle of the passageway etc etc.... I jus got the urge to take my cam out & snap a pic for u to see but den again... to respect the patients there, I decided its not the rite timing to do dat too...

We din haf a chance to eat the durians there tis time round... Anyway, its alrite coz I'm already having a bad throat by den. If Pi Linda / Pi Min ever noticed, Non ("Non" refers to younger sis in Thai) p0h has already kinda kept kinda low profile by den coz no voice to tok... ;)

Oooo... tis video was taken jus mins b4 leaving the hse to the airport. JM was deeply engrossed in her Mario game... Linda + p0h decided to teach tis gal gal how 2 "scold" Pi Min... Haa~

For this trip, I'm sure Linda has a fun time luffing + gossips shared + great time reading for the books & mag we brought over... For Linda & myself, we finally gt to noe dat JM is someone full of excuses loh... Excuses such as... Not wanting to climb up the stairs of the temple, she will say she will stay at the bottom to accompany Linda... If the food served is too spicy, she will say she prefer the original taste of food etc etc... haa~

Also, JM kip saying she aspires to be a policeman / fire fighter. Can u imagine.... Well, I hope she better not be coz our neighbourhood will not be safe anymore.... Haa~

Oooo... for me leh... I'm finally getting married loh... blessings given by JM, Linda & Boonyiem... whereas who is the unlucky chap... I shall not mention much till our matchmaker managed to convince the bridegroom bah... Lolz... Stay tune...! ;)
